I designed a folding cookbook stand to help me stay motivated.
I don’t have much cabinet space, so I had to find something that wouldn’t take up much space. Thus, this foldable recipe stand was born!

Cuts
Use a saw to cut the MDF into the sizes below.
½-inch MDF
- 1 – 12″ x 9″
- 2 – 6″ x 9″
- 1 – 1″ x 9″
¼-inch MDF
1 – 1.5 x 9 inches
Final Thoughts
I am absolutely in love! Now, I want to cook just to use my handy book holder!
It folds flat for easy storage in a cupboard or drawer. It is so compact that I keep it underneath the plates.
I often use a tablet, cookbook, or printed sheet to follow recipes. This recipe stand accommodates all of those options, making it very versatile.
