Matching Necklace and Bracelet

Supply List

This Reflections material is only compatible with CO2 laser but will not work in a diode machine.
Instructions
Upload the file to your laser machine software and cut.
The file only includes one shape for the necklace or bracelet, so you can cut as many or as few as you want. I cut 21 from each sheet.
This material is double-sided and has a plastic film on both sides.
Remove the plastic film after the pieces have been cut to protect the finish.
After the film has been removed, the pieces become much more reflective. In the image below, only half of the pieces have been weeded. Can you tell which?

After the film has been removed from both sides, begin assembly.
Start with an open jump ring and slide on one oval of each color.

Then, close the jump ring.
The correct way is to grab each side with pliers and twist the wrist to close. If the wrists are pushed together, the ring will become misshapen.

The chain is now started.

Hold an open jump ring in a pair of pliers to continue the chain.
Slide on the end of the chain and the opposite color oval piece.
Twist the wrists to close the jump ring, and repeat. The longer the chain, the more pieces are added.

Necklace
The necklace can be any length you want. I wanted it to be just long enough to fit over my head.
After making what I thought was a long enough strand, I held the ends together and tried to put it over my head.

It is perfect!
To end the necklace, make sure each end is a different color, place them on a jump ring, and twist close.

The necklace is finished!
Bracelet
The bracelet doesn’t take as many pieces, but the assembly is the same as the necklace.
I tested the length by wrapping the strand around my wrist, and 10 pieces fit perfectly.

Grab two 2mm jump rings and one 3mm jump ring.
On a 2mm jump ring, slide on the end of the bracelet and the clasp.
Twist to close the jump ring.

Close the 3mm jump.
On the other 2mm jump ring, slide on the end of the bracelet and the closed 3mm jump ring.
The bracelet is now finished! Isn’t this such a pretty set? Perfect for any holiday party.

Mixed Material Earrings

Supply List

Luxe Leather and Pressed Patterns are compatible with the CO2 and Diode lasers.
Instructions
Upload the file to your laser machine software and cut.
To attach the wood piece to the leather piece, lay the wood piece on top of the leather piece with the top hole facing down.
Insert jump rings into the side holes of both materials and twist the wrists to close the jump rings.
When attached correctly, the hole will be empty and on the top.

Insert a jump ring into the top hole, slide on the earring hook, and close the jump ring.
One earring is done. Just repeat for the second earring.
These DIY earrings are so cute and come together really quickly!

Braided Bracelet

Supply List

This Glam Flex material is compatible with both CO2 and diode laser machines.
Instructions
Upload the file to your laser machine software and cut.
This material is double-sided and has a plastic film on both sides.
Remove the plastic film after the pieces have been cut, and the material becomes much more flexible.
The cut piece has a joined end and three tails. Begin at the joined end and braid the three tails.

Right over center, left over center, and so on until the end of the tails is reached.
I used a spring clamp to hold the ends of the braid, freeing up my hands to prepare the ribbon end clamps.
My ribbon clamps came with chains and the clasp attached. I found it much easier to remove those parts before attaching them to the braided piece.
Opening a jump ring is the same as closing. Just twist the wrists in opposite directions.

Snowman Earrings

Supply List

Willows materials are compatible with CO2 and Diode lasers.
Instructions
Upload the file to your laser machine software and cut.
Start with an open jump ring, slide on a snowman shape, and close.

On the second jump ring, slide on the ring with the snowman and an earring hook, and then close the ring.
The first earring is done. Repeat for the second, and these snowman earrings are ready to impress!

Layered Tree Earrings

Supply List

Luxe Leather is compatible with the CO2 and Diode lasers.
Instructions
Upload the file to your laser machine software. Divide the tree earring file into two parts, cutting out different colors of Luxe Leather.
Cut layers one and three together and layers two and four together.
Start with an open 4mm jump ring, and slide on the cut tree layers in order.

Close the jump ring by holding two pairs of pliers on each side of it and twisting the wrists.

Slide the closed jump ring (holding the layers) and an earring wire onto the 2mm jump ring. Close the ring.
One earring is done, repeat for the second.
I absolutely love these earrings and can’t wait to show them off!

Bow Ring

Supply List

Luxe Leather is compatible with the CO2 and Diode lasers.
Instructions
Upload the file to your laser machine software.
Cut the black lines and engrave the blue lines on a low-power and high-speed setting.
The blue line should not be cut all the way through; it is meant to mark the center of the strips.

Only the 5 strips with the score line will be glued and folded.
Apply glue to the strip where the score line is.

After the strips have dried, glue the three larger strips together and the two smaller.
Use a clamp again to hold them together while they dry.

Take the remaining strip and create a small loop.
This will fit on top of small strips, so it doesn’t need to be very big.
Once the layers are dried, apply glue to the center of the larger piece and stack the smaller piece. Clamp together until dried.

Glue the center loop into place.

Apply a large glob of glue to the ring face and press it into the back of the bow. Let the glue dry completely before wearing the ring.

This ring is probably my favorite piece we made today. I am so excited to wear it!
