Short Fingerless Gloves
The next pair I am going to make are short fingerless gloves. I’ll use the same-sized socks but cut them differently.
Open up the socks and cut them off at the heel of the socks.
Same as above, measure where the thumb hole should be. Place your hand on top of the sock where you want the edge to lay on your hands.
I wanted the edge to be just above the knuckles.
Cut a small slit where the bottom knuckle of your thumb is. You don’t need to cut a big hole because the fabric will stretch.
Use the first sock as your pattern and cut a slit in the second sleeve in the same place.
Try the sleeve on; it should fit perfectly. You’ll see how the slit stretches to the correct size to fit your thumb.
I love these fingerless gloves and wear them all the time. I have even made some for my daughter too!
