The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Gavin Casalegno Marries Cheyanne King

The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Gavin Casalegno is a married man!

The actor, 25, announced his nuptials to Cheyanne King via Instagram on Tuesday, November 12, by sharing pictures from their wedding ceremony.

“FOREVER CAPTIVATED BY YOU🕊️,” Casalegno captioned the series of snaps, tagging King, who changed her Instagram handle to @cheyannecasalegno.

Casalegno, who plays Jeremiah Fisher on the Prime Video drama, had kept his romance with King, 23, under wraps, as fans pointed out in the comments. “Okay hard launch!!!!!” quipped one follower.

It isn’t known how long the couple have been dating, but King first posted a photo of her and Casalegno on vacation in Asia via Instagram in September 2023, per People.

The actor previously dated actress and model Larsen Thompson for six years from 2016 to 2022, per J-14.

Casalegno met his ex via social media, Thompson said in a February 2018 interview.

“We actually met off of Instagram. We chat with a mutual photographer, and the next week, Gavin and I are shooting with her, and she’s like, ‘Oh, my God, you have to meet this person. You guys would be so cute together,’” Thompson said at the time. “So, I went onto her photos and saw a picture of Gavin, so I ‘liked’ it, he saw my ‘like’ and came onto my Instagram, and he slid into my DMs.”

In a June 2022 interview, Casalegno described himself as a “hopeless romantic” and shared a sweet story about how he surprised Thompson for her 16th birthday after only dating for a week.

“I lived in Texas at the time and she was inviting all of her friends to the party, and at this point, I was already talking to her parents. I secretly bought a plane ticket out to go surprise her for her 16th,” Casalegno told Seventeen magazine. “Her parents brought her to some restaurant at Universal Studios and I jumped out of the corner and fake proposed with a Hershey’s Kiss. Little did I know her dad was standing right there, and so that was the first time meeting him. It was hilarious. We laugh about it now, but I haven’t found a length that I wouldn’t go to make a romantic gesture.”

Casalegno stars alongside Lola Tung and Christopher Briney in The Summer I Turned Pretty, which has aired two seasons on Prime Video. A third season is due for release in 2025.
